Dr. Harris has released this announcement: "As principal of Falmouth of high school I am excited to announce the hiring of Andrew Hellwig as our instrumental music teacher. Throughout the application and interview process Mr. Hellwig exhibited the qualifications and qualities of a musician, teacher and leader that our students deserve and the Falmouth High School music program requires. Mr. Hellwig describes this as his "Dream Job" and is looking forward to getting to know the students and families as he prepares for the start of classes and marching band this fall.
I want to thank the students, faculty and families who provided Mr. Edwards and I with valuable information on the characteristics, qualities and leadership traits important for the next leader to embody. Additionally, thank you to the interview panel of faculty, student and family representation. Your input and engagement in the process were critical in us finding and hiring the right teacher and leader in Mr. Hellwig."
